Dr Craig J Selby | Chief Academic Officer & Joint Chief Executive Officer

Internationally experienced academic and administrator, Craig’s strong interest in the development of research and communication capabilities led him to co-found The Third Degree. His teaching career started in learning support, where he developed writing and research methodology programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students. He later moved into subject-specific lecturing, then on to faculty management and government-industry liaison and accreditation roles. In his corporate life, Craig has also helmed a Brand Communications Agency that operates within SouthEast Asia. An economist by training, his interests are in Globalisation, Higher Education Futures, and Crisis Communication.

An accomplished leader with a successful 25+ year public administration and corporate career, Vighnes is recognised for driving government transformation and leading business turnarounds. He has a demonstrated ability to deliver substantial growth, generate revenue and investments, and effectively manage partnerships by introducing innovative products and solutions. He is adept at strategic planning and engaging industry, government, foundations, and multilateral institutions. Vighnes holds a Doctorate in Public Policy & Political Economy, and offers a wealth of experience across international, federal, state, and local levels.
