Dr Craig J Selby is an internationally experienced academic, qualitative research methodology specialist and doctoral mentor with a longstanding commitment to strengthening research capabilities and academic development.
As Academic Director of The Third Degree, he draws on extensive experience in higher education, research training and academic engagement across diverse international contexts. His work focuses on supporting postgraduate researchers and early-career academics through practical, accessible and inclusive approaches to research education.
Passionate about bridging the gap between academic theory and research practice, Craig leads TTD’s research methodology programmes, doctoral mentoring initiatives and broader strategic development, championing meaningful research, international collaboration and the professional growth of emerging scholars.

Professor Enikő Maior is an accomplished scholar and senior higher education leader, holding professorial appointments at Óbuda University in Hungary and Partium Christian University in Romania.
A former senior university leader and Fulbright Scholar, she brings extensive experience in educational strategy, internationalisation and academic programme development. Her academic background spans literary and cultural studies, alongside a strong commitment to teaching excellence, research and postgraduate education.
At The Third Degree, Enikő contributes to programme development, early-career academic development, strategic partnerships and international initiatives. Drawing on her extensive experience in university leadership, she helps shape collaborative projects that strengthen institutional research capabilities and create meaningful opportunities for postgraduate researchers and academics.
Haziq Mohamad | Director, Administration & Operations
Haziq oversees the administrative and operational functions of The Third Degree, supporting the organisational structures that underpin its educational programmes, professional services and collaborative initiatives.
His role helps ensure the effective coordination of administrative activities and supports the continued development of The Third Degree’s operations in Malaysia.
