The Third Degree hosts free weekly webinars exploring research methodologies, academic writing, doctoral development and the wider challenges of academic life.
Typically held on Wednesdays at 8.00pm (GMT+8), our webinars bring together experienced academics and researchers to share practical insights, discuss emerging issues and encourage thoughtful academic engagement.
Each session includes opportunities for questions and discussion, creating an accessible and supportive environment for researchers and academics at different stages of their journeys.

Whether you’re refining your proposal, mastering data collection techniques, or polishing your thesis, our program ensures you achieve milestones with confidence.

Bootcamps
The Third Degree’s Bootcamps provide intensive, interactive learning experiences for researchers seeking to develop practical skills and explore specific aspects of the research journey in greater depth.
Delivered online in small groups, our Bootcamps combine structured learning, practical activities, facilitated discussion and opportunities to engage with experienced academics. Participant numbers are limited to encourage meaningful interaction and personalised engagement.
Unlike our free weekly webinars, Bootcamps offer extended learning opportunities, with a modest participation fee. Participants receive supporting learning materials and a certificate of attendance.

The Third Degree works with universities, faculties, research centres and groups of researchers to design and deliver customised academic development programmes tailored to their specific needs and learning objectives.
These may include specialist workshops, research methodology training, academic writing and publication development, research supervision, leadership development and other areas of academic practice.
Programmes can be delivered online, face-to-face or through blended approaches, with content, duration and format adapted to participants’ needs.
